Matrix Software License Protection System is a brand that provides software license protection and internet login equipment. It is produced by TDi, the company name stands for TechnoData and Interware and was formed in 2002 by the merger between these two companies.^{[citation needed]}

The label Matrix is well known in professional circles for software development^{[citation needed]}. The fundamental component of all Matrix software protection solutions is the Matrix USB device (so-called Dongle or USB security token).
